Meals served on JETAIRWAYS flight 536 537 to & fro Dubai Mumbai were sub standard , need to improve.

  2. Koustubh says:

I would disagree with the opening sentence of this article. The food served in yesteryears was more wholesome and filling than the pathetic excuse and portion-size of meals dished out today. Of those tasteless morsels, I find Air India’s, followed by Jet Airways’ meals the best — others are not even worthy of mention.

  3. M RUPAWALA says:

I agree with Narain & Koustubh, food served by Air-India is okay, rest including Jet Air is hopeless & others not worth even mentioning. Better to eat outside beside boarding flight.

  4. Sukumar Das says:

When I was traveling back to Hyderabad from Dubai by Air India flight – the veg meal prepared with okra(ladies finger) & brinjal mix which was below standard. Once travelled to Kuwaiti from Chennai by Air India – that time food was not up to standard. Need improvement.

  5. Sudip Nandy says:

Air India flights to North East serve only two pieces of Sandwitch, not toasted and cold, i never eat them coz they make me sick (acidity). Indigo foods i like and portions are good. Jet Airways also serve cold sub witches on North East Route and are of better standard and dont make me sick. Spicejet sells cold samosas which are also asking for trouble. In general serving hot snacks is an issue among Airlines in India.

  6. sundaram says:

the best is AIR INDIA followed by Jet on meals n food, but for delay too AI comes first and Jet is too costly & most staff are too formal,

  7. K K SINGHAL says:

Meals served on JETAIRWAYS flight 823 824 to & fro Dehradun Trivandram were best quality.

  8. Ankit Pandey says:

Foods offered in Flights of Vistara have not been considered. Vistara offers great value for money services.

  9. Raja says:

Do all flights serve food even in domestic flights but I have experienced so many times in jet airways mumbai rajkot sector they don’t give even water they charge very exorbitant prices and air India always give you small packet of juice and small sandwich same every time

  10. Hamza Mohammed says:

very poor, no standard food. Iam travelled 2 times ccj-mumbai, ccj-New Delhi. Next time I never choose Indigo.

  11. Ram Chattopadhyay says:

Budget airlines meals are horrible and they charge a lot .International flights of foreign airlines vary from airlines to airlines. Generally sector covering to and from India is not as good as that covering other sectors, such as . Europe to North America. Also European Airlines are probably better in this respect than North American. Of course all depends on airlines and their policy. Quality of service and meal has gone down considerably over the deacades.
I have some interesting experiences on this issues
